ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – Trine University in Angola, has recognized 51 students from Branch County for their exceptional academic performance during the Fall 2025 semester. The honors were announced on January 6, 2026, with students qualifying for either the President’s List or the Dean’s List based on their grade point average (GPA) while maintaining a minimum of 12 credit hours.
President’s List Honors
Thirty-seven students from the area earned a spot on the President’s List, which requires a semester GPA between 3.750 and 4.0.
Students from Coldwater named to the President’s List include Rylee Rice, Jamela Mohamed, Saleh Mohamed, Sharefa Aboali, Rokeyeh Muthanna- Munassar, Allyson Aker, Natalee Wilson, Sydney Wolfe, Chase Moore, Michael Orozco-Aburto, Allison Short, Izabella Tenney, Allison King, Shatha Althibani, Rahwon Atwain, Avery Boyce, Dawson Brown, Joseph Closson, Tara Sanford, Sara Mobley, Rayce Johnson, Brooklyn Kerry, John Lake, Wyatt Robinson and Emalyn Shidler. Bronson students honored were Boston Bucklin , Morgan McConn, Nolan Ray, Amy Waber, Isabella Cranson. From Quincy, Davin George, Brennen Allman, Madison Burlew, and Madison Hagaman made the list. Gracie Johnson from Union City also received President’s List honors.
Dean’s List Honors
Fourteen Branch County students were named to the Dean’s List for achieving a GPA between 3.500 and 3.749.
Coldwater students on the Dean’s List include Ebrahim Ahmed, Tammum Ahmed, Ellianna Foley, Hannah Fulk, Jodi Hollingsworth, Samuel Larr, Braeh Mohammed, Fatima Naji, Ethan Parker, and Rachel Rutz. From Quincy, Davin George and Jenna Hagelshaw were recognized. Andrew Leggett from Bronson also made the Dean’s List. James Bigelow from Union City was honored as well.
