BRAINERD — The Brainerd Public Library will host a team from the Science Museum of Minnesota for a program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade focusing on making science fun.
The program will take place from 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, when school is out for MEA
break.
“Celebrate Science!” will feature six hands-on stations that allow kids and adults to work together to explore, experiment, and have fun while learning all about forces and motion. They will include frog flingers, wind tubes, stomp rockets, tops, magnet magic and spinners.
No registration is required, but the library’s large meeting room capacity will be observed.
This program is made possible by a donation from the Brainerd Jaycees.
