Salida School District R-32-J Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at 627 Oak St., where they will hold multiple discussions on policy changes, health curriculum, cell phones and social media, approve resolutions, amend salary schedules and hear board reports.
Policy changes include sections E, F, K and L. Some of the policies include video cameras on transportation vehicles, prioritization of facility improvements, custodial and non-custodial parent rights and responsibilities, and relations with charter schools.
Discussions will be held on the district’s health curriculum position, cell phone and social media position and activities.
Action items include a resolution to commit $180,000 in the general fund for the remaining balance of paid time off buyback payments in June 2026, and approve a strategic facility plan.
The board will then hear reports from its members before adjourning.
The next regular meeting will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 14.
