A medical center in Tennessee is the best employer for company culture in the nation, according to a new ranking by Forbes.
To develop the first “America’s Best Employers for Company Culture” list, more than 218,000 employees from U.S. companies with at least 1,000 workers were surveyed. They were asked how likely they would be to recommend their current and past employers, as well as other companies they were familiar with through their industry or through friends and family who had worked there.
The data collected from surveys over the past three years was organized into a scoring system. Higher weight was given to more recent data and responses from current employees. Ultimately, the top 600 U.S. companies with the highest scores were ranked, with a Tennessee-based business earning the overall top spot.
Here are the Tennessee companies that made the inaugural list.
