BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – Job seekers will have access to nearly 40 career government opportunities all in one place.
Berkeley County leaders are hosting a biannual In-House Career Fair on Sept. 10.
Leaders say it’s an opportunity for interested applicants to have access to various job openings across government departments.
Interested applicants must bring a resume to the event.
Berkeley County Assistant Public Information Officer Taylor James says the event is an opportunity for any interested job seekers to get interviewed on the spot.
“This job fair is really for people in our community and beyond,” James says. “Berkeley County is a great place to work. We have paid holidays, we also have state retirement and great benefits, so whether you’re just starting out or looking for a new career, there’s a lot of positions that you can come and learn about.”
The event will take place at the Berkeley County Administrative Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A list of openings can be found on the government job portal.
