The Baldwinsville Central School District is looking at a plan to adjust school start and end times.
The plan includes potentially pushing back the start of the day for students at Baker High School and Durgee Junior High to 8:45 a.m.
The district highlights research showing that later start times correlate to better grades and other positive outcomes for teens.
There’s also a study underway looking at how some proposed changes would affect students at all grade levels.
Administrators say the changes wouldn’t take effect until the 2028-29 school year.
More information can be found on the district’s website.
