Debra Fotheringham and Andrew Wiscombe
Debra Fotheringham and Andrew Wiscombe took the stage for Culture Connections at Washington Park in Price on June 19, 2025.
Based out of Salt Lake City, Fotheringham and Wiscombe are a folk-americana duo who just recently got together as a performing act, with this being their third gig. They sang a combination of covers and original music.
Before singing Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire, Wiscombe reminisced on his childhood cattle ranching up Diamond Fork in Spanish Fork Canyon. The song would get stuck on his grandpa’s 8-track tape while driving to tend to the cattle.
Fotheringham sang one of her new songs, “Time Machine,” a song about being present in your own life.
“My new songs are always my most favorite,” Fotheringham said. “But I like it, it’s going to be on my new record that’s coming out this year.”
In addition to vocals and acoustic guitars, Wiscombe played the harmonica simultaneously using his harmonica rack. The audience enjoyed the calm summer night and soulful music.
