Tehachapi High School will celebrate Homecoming this week with activities including an evening rally, parade, dance, and homecoming volleyball and football games.
Wednesday activities include a staff volleyball game in the high school gym during lunch and an evening rally.
An assembly and homecoming parade will occur on Friday afternoon, followed by the JV football game at 5 p.m. and the varsity game at 7:30 p.m., both with visiting West High School.
Activity Director Amy Watkins said floats will line up in the high school parking lot and leave there around 11 a.m.
“Where they will be and when is a little unpredictable, but we are taking our usual route,” she said. Past parades have included students lining Valley Boulevard near the high school to watch the floats.
The homecoming assembly at the high school Friday afternoon will begin at 1:26 p.m.
The week’s activities wrap up with the homecoming dance at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.
