Maxtivity Arts and Crafts Creative Space in Philomath is among the organizations across three states receiving arts and culture grants from the Pacific Power Foundation.
The foundation announced Monday it awarded $173,760 in total funding to organizations across Oregon, Washington and northern California. The grants were distributed through one of four annual grant cycles offered by the foundation.
“We appreciate the important contributions of these local programs, which foster community engagement through theater, festivals and celebrations of cultural heritage,” Ryan Flynn, director of the Pacific Power Foundation and Pacific Power president, said through a news release.
The foundation supports organizations within communities served by Pacific Power. Arts and culture grants represent one of several funding categories the foundation offers throughout the year.
Maxtivity was listed among Benton County recipients in the foundation’s announcement. The specific grant amount awarded to Maxtivity was not disclosed.
