The Afrikan People’s Union and Student Culture and Community are hosting the 23rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Banquet Jan. 24 in the Nebraska Union Centennial Room. The evening of reflection, inspiration and connection is open to the public.
Centered on the theme, “Transformation Through Innovation,” this year’s banquet explores how creative thinking, bold leadership and collective action can turn challenges into opportunities for progress. Guests will engage with ideas that honor King’s legacy while speaking directly to today’s world — how we build community, advance justice and imagine more inclusive futures together.
