VALLEY CITY, N.D. (HSDA) – The Valley City Area HSDA will hold their first meeting on Friday January 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM in VCSU’s Norway Room in the Student Center Building.
Spokesman Carter Hass said our first meeting will consist of policy discussion and chapter establishment procedures. The meeting will cover the inner workings of the HSDA and what our chapter can do to make our communities better. The High School Democrats of America are an arm of the Young Democrats. If you are a High School student interested in protest organizing, assisting candidates in their campaigns, volunteering, taking peaceful political action, or social media engagement, then you are encouraged to attend our first meeting.
Hass said it is important that Gen Z voices have a platform to amplify their concerns and their solvency. The HSDA fosters such a platform by giving high school students a way to make peaceful and meaningful civic change. Regardless of your politics, you are invited to attend. The chapter is committed to serving the next generation in the best way possible. Members of the press are also encouraged to attend.
Carter Hass, a senior at VCHS and Founder of the Valley City Area HSDA Chapter, stated, “Our generation needs serious unity, and this is the best way to unite. It is truly a blessing to be apart of the HSDA and make our young voices heard. Patriotism can go a long way, and political organizing represents patriotism at its finest.”
