Hyde Square Task Force (HSTF) hosted its annual Three Kings Celebration (Día de los Reyes) for the local community on Jan. 10.
The event was in honor of the Epiphany, a Christian holiday celebrated in Latin American and Spanish cultures each year on January 6 — the day the Three Wise Men visited baby Jesus.
HSTF has been hosting its Three Kings Celebration for more than 20 years. The festivities included performances by HSTF youth ambassadors, immersive cultural experiences, community celebrations, and more, allowing festival goers to enjoy the traditions, flavors, and stories of Boston’s Latin Quarter. HSTF also gave out goodie bags and a book about Three Kings Day to children in attendance.
