The Pop Culture News Bulletin is a weekly roundup of the recent and trending news stories in the entertainment industry or stories that fall into the pop culture subcategory. Every Friday we feature stories that fit the content we frequently cover
I most definitely did not see it while it was culturally famous, but in the last two years, I did binge watch Malcolm in the Middle, and it was quite fun. It’s one of those shows that still tugs as the heartstrings of many evidenced by its easy streaming access and the limited revival coming in 2026. Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair will see Frankie Muniz return to the titular role alongside most of his on-screen family. Theses roles are again fulfilled by the same actors like Bryan Cranston; Jane Kaczmarek; Christopher Kennedy Masterson; Justin Berfield; and Emy Coligado plus some newcomers, too! This past week, Hulu dropped the teaser poster and first look trailer (below). Take a look at the April 10th show, and tell me, are you excited about this one?
According to the Hulu press release and site, the premise will follow Malcolm as he struggles to “shield” himself (after years!) from “his family for over a decade [but then] Hal and Lois demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.”

The big headline maker across multiple outlets, and the thing that even earned multiple stories on the same outlet, is the finale of Stranger Things. The show dropped part of its final season earlier this month and on the thirty-first, its final episodes released to Netflix. The show, which is tagged as “horror” and sci-fi, is largely credited for giving stardom to a then unknown Millie Bobby Brown who led the cast when the five season show began back nearly ten years ago in 2016.
