Dorit Kemsley is “finally unburdened,” according to her tagline for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15. But this also happens to be the title of her memoir, which is set to be released in 2026, and is her latest step in her illustrious career. In addition to being a writer and telling her story in her own words, her resume includes her work in the fashion industry as well as taking her love for design to the hospitality industry (more on that below).
Dorit’s memoir, Unburdened: A Memoir will be released on April 7, 2026. According to the publisher, Unburdened will tell “Dorit’s glamorous and deeply personal story — a story of transformation, resilience, and the unshakable power of self-love. For fans and new readers alike, this memoir will offer an intimate look at the woman behind the camera: a mother, a survivor, a dreamer, and a woman reclaiming her voice.”

Dorit posted the cover of her memoir to Instagram in November, where she opened up about how excited she is to share her own story. “It’s one thing to live your story, another to tell it,” she wrote. “Revealing this cover feels like opening the door to everything I’ve carried, lost, and reclaimed.”
“Unburdened is my truth, written with heart, and without fear,” she concluded.
Dorit spoke with PEOPLE in September, where she opened up about how important writing the book was to her amid her divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley. “This book is one of the most personal and meaningful projects I’ve ever taken on and I can’t wait for you to step into my world, my story, and my truth,” she said.

Details on Dorit Kemsley’s swimsuit line, Beverly Beach
Dorit launched her swimsuit line, Beverly Beach, in 2018. The mom of two, who has a history working in fashion (more on that down below), launched the line with several bathing suits and accessories named after her friends. The brand also sold several household items, including candles, towels, and bronzer.

“Beverly Beach is a brand that’s expanding into a lifestyle brand,” Dorit explained to The Daily Dish backstage at the RHOBH Season 9 reunion. “That was always the vision I had and that’s where I plan to take it.”

Back in 2020, Dorit announced her fashion partnership with couture bridal line Nektaria for a collection of “wedding dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, little girls, bridal accessories and more.”
Dorit Kemsley’s foray into designing restaurants
Dorit took her design skills to the restaurant industry during RHOBH Season 10. During the season, Dorit revealed that she had the opportunity to design a room at the Los Angeles Buca di Beppo, inspired by a city in Italy.

“This is the first time I’ve ever designed a room in a restaurant,” Dorit explained in a confessional in RHOBH Season 10, Episode 15. “This is a big deal for me. In designing the Capri room, I had a chance to really put myself back in magical Capri. The beauty, the allure, the colors, and the smells, it feels like you’re stepping into a restaurant in Capri.”

When chatting with The Daily Dish several years ago, Dorit attributed her international career to her accent. “I think the way I speak is probably a combination of many things. First and foremost I am married to a Brit who’s got a very, very strong London accent, and I’m sure some of his inflections have sort of rolled over me,” she explained at the time. “My parents are not American. I was born and raised in America. I did spend a significant amount of time, nearly 10 years, back and forth going to Europe. I spend a lot of time working all over the world and in various places of the world where people didn’t speak English all that well. I had a tendency to over enunciate, so I think at times my English is part that and part inflection. And you know, being around a lot of Europeans and a lot of Brits, you just become a part of your environment really. That’s who I am. That’s the way I speak. I don’t hear it.”
Dorit Kemsley opens up about her career in fashion before becoming a mom and marrying PK
Immediately after college graduation, she went to work in fashion in Italy, which was not her intention. “I didn’t set out to have a career in fashion,” she explained to Rollacoaster Magazine in April. “I felt like marketing was the better fit because it was general enough, then fashion was kind of an opportunity that opened.”
But, she admitted to the magazine that she put her fashion career on hiatus to pursue a serious relationship with her ex-husband. “I had my own business, I had my factories in Italy and Hong Kong so I had to travel all over the world. I was also looking to grow it bigger and bigger,” she said.
