After the weekend snow, several local school districts have delayed starts for Monday amid bitter cold.
Bristol Borough School District:
“Due to early morning icy road conditions, Bristol Borough School District will be on a two hour delay on Monday.”
Bristol Township School District:
“ELEMENTARY SCHEDULE ON DECEMBER 15
Due to the delayed opening, the BTSD Elementary Schools will end at the regular dismissal time tomorrow. Afternoon conferences are cancelled and will be rescheduled.

TWO-HOUR DELAYED OPENING DECEMBER 15
After consultation with advisors and stakeholders, due to weather and road conditions, the Bristol Township School District will operate on a two-hour delayed opening on Monday, December 15. Please take your bus arrival time and add two-hours to it for morning pickup.
Start times are as follows:
– High School: 9:13 a.m.
– Middle: 10 a.m.
– Elementary: 11:20 a.m.
KidTime will also operate on a two-hour delay.

Due to the possibility of icy conditions in the morning hours, the Pennsbury School District will operate on a 2-hour delay on Monday, December 15.

Two-hour delay start times are as follows:
- Middle Schools – 9:35 am
- Pennsbury High School – 10:15 am
- Elementary Schools – 11:00 am
- Buses will arrive at stops two hours later than usual, and school will begin two hours later than usual.
- Note to walking students: Some sidewalks and intersections may be difficult to cross. Please plan accordingly.
