Most of Jones’ milestone yardage was gained while wearing green and gold. He split backfield duties his first two years in Green Bay and became a star in 2019, leading the league with 19 total touchdowns. Jones was elected to his first Pro Bowl the next season, in which he posted his second of four campaigns so far with 1,000 rushing yards and his second of four straight from 2019-22 with more than 45 catches.
Jones concluded his Titletown tenure with 5,940 rush yards and 2,076 receiving in 97 games and 85 starts. He joined the Vikings in his age 30 season in 2024 and showcased the same juice that endeared him to Packers fans, garnering career highs in carries (255) and yards on the ground (1,138) for the Purple. He also secured a career-best 82.3% of his targets, with 51 receptions for 408 yards via 62 opps.
The 5-foot-10, 208-pound RB is the third player in 2025 to hit the 10,000-yard benchmark, joining Philadelphia RB Saquon Barkley and newly signed Buffalo WR Brandin Cooks. He’s also the fifth active RB, accompanied by Barkley, Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara and Christian McCaffrey. The list of current or former players in that club who once repped the Vikings are WR Stefon Diggs, RB Adrian Peterson, WR Randy Moss, WR Cris Carter, RB Terry Allen, RB Herschel Walker, RB Roger Craig and WR Harold Jackson.
Another milestone for Jones is there for the taking; he’s three touchdowns away from 75 in his career.
