Opelika running back CJ Johnson was voted as last week’s AL.com Player of the Week after totaling 178 yards and a touchdown along with a 95-yard kick return for a touchdown in the Bulldogs’ 31-28 win over Auburn.
Now, fans can make their picks for the top performance from the Class 1A-6A state semifinals.

Here are the nominees from the AHSAA state semifinals:
Nehemiah McCary, Maplesville: McCary ran the ball 17 times for 225 yards with touchdown runs of 3, 9 and 68 yards in Maplesville’s 59-18 victory over Leroy.
Noah Cain, Bayside Academy: Cain hauled in a 60-yard touchdown pass and returned an interception 55 yards for a score in Bayside Academy’s 51-20 win over Southside-Selma.
Kylen Johnson, Coosa Christian: The athlete ran the ball 31 times for 311 yards and six touchdowns, including the game-winning 23-yard TD in the fourth quarter, in a 44-36 victory over Pisgah.
Jamison Roberts, Saraland: The quarterback completed 16-of-29 passes for 302 yards and two touchdowns while running for two more scores in a 38-21 victory over Benjamin Russell.
Jaxon Penn, Mars Hill: The Troy football commit rushed for 208 yards on 18 carries as Mars Hill rolled past previously unbeaten Piedmont.
Damon Pope, Anniston: Pope ran for 237 yards and 3 scores in a win over Plainview. He scored the winning touchdown on a 6-yard run with 4.3 seconds left to play.
Sammy Dunn, Vigor: The senior threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns, also adding a rushing score in a 28-21 victory over Williamson.
Landon Duckworth, Jackson: The South Carolina commit ran for 215 yards and two touchdowns while going 5-of-9 passing for 134 yards and a score in a win over St. Michael.
Aaron Frye, Clay-Chalkville: The Alabama State commit threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more in Clay’s win over Muscle Shoals. He finished with 167 yards passing and 119 yards rushing on 17 carries.
Jaquez Wilkes, Wadley: The Auburn commit scored the game-winning touchdown on an 8-yard run in a 22-14 victory over Addison. He also scored on a 4-yard run in the first half.
Kingston Preyear, Benjamin Russell: The five-star prospect completed 20-of-35 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns and added 10 carries for 41 yards in a 38-21 loss to Saraland.
