Russell Wilson watched on as the New York Giants suffered a fifth straight loss in Week 11, dropping to 2-9 on the 2025 NFL season after a 27-20 loss to Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. With Jaxson Dart in concussion protocol, Jameis Winston started in his place over Wilson, completing 19-of-29 passes for 201 yards and an interception, adding a touchdown on the ground.
After just one season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Wilson signed a one-year, $10.5 million deal with the Giants. He initially won the starting quarterback job, completing 65-of-110 passes for 778 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. But an 0–3 start prompted New York to make a change, promoting the first-round rookie Dart to the starting role.

But while Wilson is watching from the sideline, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback is still making moves off the field. And on Wednesday, he announced that he is teaming up with the Huntsman Mental Health Foundation and the Ad Council for the new “Love, Your Mind” campaign.
The campaign aims to offer “inspiration, community and educational resources to encourage people across the U.S. to be more open and proactive when it comes to their mental health.” Along with Wilson, numerous other athletes have joined the cause, including WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson, Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and USA Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles.

“Taking care of your mind is so important,” Wilson wrote on Instagram. “I’m teaming up with @love_yourmind to keep that message front and center! Check out the “Love Your Mind” Playbook and build your own game plan to be Limitless: LoveYourMindPlaybook.org”
The 2025 season doesn’t get any easier for Wilson and the Giants in Week 12, hitting the road to face Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
