Celebrate International Education Week at Seton Hall

international studentsInternational Education Week is celebrated each November (usually the third week).
It is a time to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide
— for our community to appreciate cultural diversity, study abroad and the global
learning opportunities we have right here at Seton Hall.

Join us for weeklong events where we bring our international, exchange and U.S. students
together! Experience the richness of cultures locally and from around the world, sharing
your stories and discovering how you can become part of Seton Hall’s global community.

Coffee and Tea with the Career Center
Tuesday, November 18, 11 a.m. – Noon 
Location: OIP, Jubilee 231-234
Register for the event – spaces are limited

Take a break and grab a cup of coffee or tea with the Career Center team at the Office
of International Programs! The Career Center advisor will be here to offer interview
tips, review résumé, and answer career questions for international students along
with an OIP advisor to answer questions regarding work authorization. You can also
learn how to make the most of 12Twenty for your job and internship search. No matter
where you are in your career journey, stop by for some friendly advice and useful
resources.

International Game Night
Tuesday, November 18, 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Location: Office of Campus Inclusion, UC Rm 209

Join the Office of Campus Inclusion and Office of International Programs for an evening
of global fun and connection at International Game Night! Enjoy a global themed Kahoot
and games from around the world while meeting fellow students, learning about different
cultures, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

Light snacks from various cultures will be provided. Come solo or bring friends, everyone
is welcome!

Passport to Empanadas with RAs Adana and Nick with Study Abroad Team
Wednesday, November 19, Noon – 2 p.m.
Location: OIP, Jubilee 231-234
RSVP in Engage

Join RAs Adana and Nick and the Office of International Programming in tasting different
types of empanadas in relation to the countries they originate from with study abroad
opportunities available to those regions!

Voices Around the Table: An International Graduate Student Social in celebration of
International Education Week

Wednesday, November 19, 4 – 5:30 p.m.
Location Schwartz Building, Room 237
Register for this event

Join us for a vibrant round-table gathering where our international graduate students
are invited to share their journeys, perspectives and stories from across the globe.
Voices Around the Table honors the rich diversity that shapes our academic community,
creating a welcoming space for storytelling, cultural exchange and meaningful dialogue.

Whether you’re ready to share your own experiences or simply wish to listen and connect,
this social event invites international graduate students to pull up a chair, expand
their horizons and forge connections across cultures.

Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is appreciated. This event is co-hosted
by the Office of Graduate Affairs and the Office of International Programs.

Taste of Thanksgiving – a Friendsgiving Social
Thursday, November 20, Noon – 2 p.m.
Location: OIP Jubilee Hall 231-234
Register for the event -for food ordering purposes

Bring a friend and join us at the Office of International Programs for a festive mid-day
gathering to celebrate friendship, community and the simple blessings that surround
us every day. Enjoy a taste of Thanksgiving including roasted turkey, creamy mashed
potatoes, apple cider and more.

Open to all students, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with friends, meet
new people, take a break, and celebrate the season from your busy day while sampling
good food and great company.

An Evening with the Seton Hall Women’s Basketball Team
Thursday, November 20, 6 – 9 p.m.
Location: Meet at Jubilee 231-234
FREE – The original price of the ticket is $5
Registration is required due to limited seats

Come join the Office of International Programs and Buccino Leadership Institute to
spend an exciting evening celebrating our amazing Seton Hall Women’s Basketball Team! Stop by OIP first to have some hot chocolate and snacks. Then, we’ll walk over to
the Walsh Gymnasium to cheer on the team playing against Fordham University, including
our very own international player, Mariana Valenzuela, as the women’s team takes the
court for an action-packed game! Be sure to wear your Seton Hall color! All students
are welcome.

Let’s pack the stands and show our support for these incredible student-athletes.
