The College of Education is excited to open nominations for the Redbird Educator Teaching Awards.
The Redbird Educator Teaching Awards celebrate outstanding PK-12 teachers who are Illinois State University alumni and faculty associates at the Illinois State Laboratory Schools.
The awards honor teachers who have distinguished themselves by demonstrating qualities as a teacher leader, a commitment to students, impact in their schools and communities, and a commitment to professional growth. Nominees must be a current classroom teacher or retired as a classroom teacher.
Award Categories include:
- Alumni Excellence in Teaching Award
- Alumni Teacher Legacy Award
- Laboratory Schools Teacher of the Year
Nominations must be submitted by December 8, 2025, to be eligible for consideration.
