FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Education Connection (FEC) handed out awards at its FEC Evening for Education last Friday night, November 7.
The City of Franklin, Indiana, Government was recognized for being a founding sponsor and for its generous support and dedication to the FEC mission for seven consecutive years, a testament to its ongoing commitment to education in the community.
An FEC spokesperson stated, “Franklin is a wonderful place to live, work, and play, where education is valued and prioritized. We are so grateful to partner with a city that continually invests in the success of its students and Franklin Community Schools. Thank you for helping us make a lasting impact on education and our future leaders.”
Donna Phair was also honored as the recipient of the 2025 Lancer Associates Architecture Educator Excellence Award. She was thanked for being someone who “inspires not only through lessons and lectures, but through example. She challenges students to think deeply, dream big, and carry themselves with kindness and integrity, bringing out the best in them — both academically and personally.”
Phair has dedicated decades of her career to the students of the Franklin Community Schools, creating lasting impacts that will stay with them for a lifetime.
