PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Rhode Island Comic Con gets underway Friday in Providence.
The pop culture convention takes over the downtown for the weekend.
NBC 10’s Temi-Tope Adeleye says celebrities and pop culture are on tap at Rhode Island Comic Con.
Fans can meet dozens of celebrity guests from movies, television, and beyond.
Big names this year include Geena Davis, Rainn Wilson, Charlie Cox and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Comic Con spans two venues: Amica Mutual Pavilion and the Rhode Island Convention Center.
