Huntsville job seekers are getting a big opportunity with the first Career Connect hiring event in Madison County.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville Committee of 100 is partnering with the Huntsville Housing Authority, AIDT, and Career Connect–NorthAlabamaJobs.com to host a Career Connect hiring event on Wednesday, November 5, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Shurney Legacy Center, 3011-A Sparkman Drive NW.
The event marks the first Career Connect hiring event in Madison County. The program, funded through AIDT, has already helped hundreds of residents in Limestone and Morgan counties connect with jobs and career resources.
Organizers say community interest has been overwhelming with more than 1,200 people pre-registered.
“This overwhelming response shows how deeply people across our community are ready to seize new opportunities,” said John Allen, CEO of the Huntsville Committee of 100. “This effort reflects the persistence, partnership, and shared vision of business and community leaders committed to creating opportunity, strengthening the local workforce, and uplifting the entire Huntsville/Madison County region.”
Attendance will be capped at 600 confirmed participants to ensure a smooth experience, while additional registrants will be given priority for a second event planned for early December.
