On October 22, the Study Abroad Office held its annual fall fair, which welcomed over 30 partners and resources from across campus and the world.
The Study Abroad Fair gives students the opportunity to speak with representatives of study abroad programs in an open house setting to learn more about the many study abroad programs available at Illinois State University. The fair also brings an opportunity for students to enter a raffle to win a $500 scholarship to be used toward their study abroad expenses. Congratulations to Shannon Craig, who was drawn as the winner of a $500 Study Abroad Scholarship*

The 2025 fair covered current programming running through direct-enroll and exchange partnerships, faculty-led programs for the summer of 2026, and affiliate providers. The fair saw over 200 Illinois State student attendees who had the opportunity to talk with program representatives and study abroad alumni about academics, internships, cost, individual experiences, travel, and much more.

Assistant Director of Education Abroad Emma Guevara said, “Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s fair a success, and to all who attended! We appreciate the support of our organizers, volunteers, and partners who made the event possible. We hope the fair inspired students to explore new opportunities and consider studying abroad in the future.”
