WATERLOO, Iowa — The Waterloo Housing Authority is offering a free home buyer education course, starting November 13.
The course consists of four sessions, each lasting two hours, at the Waterloo Center for the Arts. Participants will learn about managing finances, understanding credit, and the home buying process.
Completing all sessions is necessary to receive a certificate, which is a prerequisite for down payment assistance and voucher home ownership. Registration is limited to the first 30 applicants.
Those interested must pick up a registration form at the Waterloo Housing Authority office and submit it with proof of income. Veridian Credit Union is sponsoring the event.
