TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) — The Arizona Department of Education has launched a new online certification system to make it easier for educators to obtain certification in the state.
Superintendent Tom Horne emphasized the goal of cutting red tape and simplifying the certification process for both current and FUTURE teachers.
Launched on Monday, the system allows educators to submit applications entirely online, track their status in real-time, and receive automated updates throughout the process.
It also features enhanced customer support to assist users with any questions.
Overall, initial feedback indicates that this new system is faster and more user-friendly than the previous one.
