The Hawaii Career Expo returns to the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall Wednesday with more than 100 booths featuring the state’s top employers looking for high-quality workers.
The free event, sponsored by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and presented by Star Events, allows job seekers to learn about available jobs and talk with company recruiters while distributing their resumes, organizers said.
Participating employers come from government, the military and a wide range from Hawaii’s private sector, including tourism, health care, retail and transportation. They include the State of Hawaii, City & County of Honolulu, Hawaiian Airlines and Hawaii’s largest banking institutions.
“Each year, thousands of people participate in our career expos to connect with hundreds of recruiters and human resource managers throughout the state,” said Star Events Director Denise Ching. “This month, we are excited to feature opportunities in a wide variety of job categories including law enforcement, construction, nursing, food service, tourism and hospitality, financial institutions, emergency services, retail, technology, transportation and so much more.”
The Career Expo is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the exhibition hall. Attendees may present a printed copy of their resume at the front door for free admission. Preregistration is recommended at hawaiicareerexpo.com.
Job seekers also can call 808-529-4796 for more information.
