MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Celebrations of Hispanic Heritage Month will continue this weekend with a play that explores the diversity of Latin America.
The play is in both English and Spanish. But you don’t have to be bilingual to enjoy it as anyone can understand the message here.
It’s call De Aqui y De Alla, or “From Here and There.”
It’s a play that highlights the vibrant and unique cultures of various Latin American countries.
Brazil, Ecuador Peru and Argentina. Performers with Cazateatro Bilingual Threatre Group share this journey through South America with students every Hispanic Heritage Month, which ends on Oct. 15.
This year, they’re bringing the dancing, singing and storytelling to everyone at Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education in Downtown Memphis. It’s part of newly reimagined series by the Halloran Centre to highlight more local artists.

“From Here and There” runs Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25.
The proceeds help the Cazateatro group continue its work by educating through the arts. All year long, they perform at schools and events al around the Mid-South sharing more about the Hispanic culture.
