UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s Office of Faculty Affairs is offering two upcoming virtual workshops designed to help faculty navigate change, maintain well-being and explore new professional directions. These sessions provide timely support for faculty experiencing transitions related to campus or program changes and are open to all Penn State faculty.
Building Personal Resilience: Coping with Change and Uncertainty
2-3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3
Featuring Corie Weathers, author and CEO of Lifegiver Consulting, with Vivian Hsu, teaching professor of psychology at Penn State Abington. This session focuses on building emotional resilience, managing uncertainty and maintaining balance during periods of professional transition.
Charting New Career Paths: Finding Direction and Opportunity
3-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11
Led by Ann Clements, associate vice provost for Faculty Affairs, and Christy Helms, senior director of Talent Management, Penn State Human Resources. This interactive session will guide faculty in identifying strengths, exploring new opportunities and preparing for career transitions with confidence.
Both workshops are part of the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting faculty through change with compassion, practical resources and professional development.
