LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Several Bucks County school districts are among the best public school systems in the Commonwealth and country, according to a report released this week by Niche.
Niche ranked school districts, high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools.
The top school districts in Bucks County were the New Hope-Solebury School District, followed by the Central Bucks School District, and the Council Rock School District.
The Pennsbury School District placed fourth among the best Bucks County school districts, according to Niche, which ranked 10 of them.
Niche said its rankings, now in the 11th year, differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that it also includes input from students, alumni, and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources, and facilities.
These are how the school districts in Lower Bucks County ranked:
- 4th — Pennsbury School District
- 7th — Neshaminy School District
- 9th — Centennial School District
- 10th — Bensalem School District
- Unranked — Bristol Borough School District
- Unranked — Morrisville Borough School District
- Unranked — Bristol Township School District
Patch will provide a breakdown of the rankings in the coming days
