Will Taylor Swift go on tour for The Life of a Showgirl?
As of right now, the show will not be hitting the road anytime soon. On October 3, Swift sat down with BBC Radio 1 and discussed the possibility. When host Greg James asked if she’s got an “itch” to tour again, she immediately shut down the idea. “No. I am going to be really honest with you,” she said. “I am so tired when I think about doing it again because I’d want to do it really well again.”
When was Taylor Swift’s last tour?
Swift wrapped her record-breaking Eras Tour in December 2024 after being on the road since March 2023. The 149-show run, which grossed $2 billion, spanned the globe—from the U.S. and Mexico City to Singapore and Warsaw. She released the accompanying concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, in October 2023, and it is now streaming on Disney+.
“I think about [the Eras Tour] every day,” Swift told BBC Radio 1 in October 2025. “I had so much fun on that tour. It was obviously the most exhausting challenge ever, physically, but I’ll never forget seeing what I saw… I could see [the fans’] experience and their joy, and that fed me and fueled me, even when I was exhausted and tired.”
