Resolution Life, a global life insurance group focused on reinsurance and managing life insurance portfolios, has announced the appointment of Jeff Davies as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 2nd March 2026.
Davies will provide strategic direction and leadership for all financial and investment activities, while also overseeing corporate development and strategy in line with the company’s global mission.
He will report to Clive Cowdery, Chairman and CEO of Resolution Life, and join the company’s Leadership Team.
He will succeed Jonathan Moss, who will assume the new role of Chief Technical Officer, leading the underwriting function across U.S. and international markets to ensure consistent pricing and risk management.
Davies brings over 30 years of industry experience, joining Resolution Life from Legal & General, where he has served as Group CFO for the past eight years.
Prior to that, he was a senior partner at Ernst & Young LLP (EY) and led its European risk and actuarial insurance services. Davies also held senior actuarial roles at Swiss Re Life & Health.
