Assistant Professor of Chemistry Carolyn Hutchinson recently published an invited contribution in Cell Reports Physical Sciences “Voices.” The Voices article responds to the question: “What is the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in scientific research?” Hutchinson’s article is titled “Global perspectives on the critical role of diversity, equity, and inclusion in science,” and was published on Sept. 8.
According to the publisher, “Voices is an article format that offers a series of short opinion pieces highlighting the diverse perspectives of the research community. From discussion of key challenges facing specific fields, to issues of regional importance, or discourse on life in the lab, the Voices in this collection present a candid commentary on the top issues in research and beyond.”
