Tech Topics, a free program sponsored by Rainbow Communications and held at the Morrill Public Library in Hiawatha, is moving to third Fridays this fall.
Rainbow Communications offers this free program to help local residents learn about the technology world and understand their smart phones, iPads, computers, email and much more. The program is offered over the lunch hour at the Morrill Public Library in the large meeting room downstairs.
Previously, the program was on the first Tuesday, but starting in September, it will move to the third Friday from noon to 1 p.m. — just prior to the library’s Senior Social program, which is a free program for senior citizens to gather, play games, have snacks and visit. Senior Socials is from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Rainbow’s Tech Topics will kick off for the fall on Friday, Sept. 19, at noon with “Smartphone Basics.” The series will continue on Friday, Oct. 17, with “Digital Organization” and on Friday, Nov. 21, with “Dangers of AI.”
The public is encouraged to come to the programs and Rainbow staff can help answer any questions you may have.
