Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot when attending an event at the Utah Valley University on September 10. The conservative political activist and Trump ally was hit in the neck and succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
However, Charlie’s wife Erika, in an emotional message, vowed not to let his message die, and to ensure that his vision continued. She also promised to turn what Kirk had started into the largest thing the nation had seen. True to form, Turning Point USA is now looking to organize a massive event to celebrate the life of their founder.
On X, it announced “Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend.”
What to know about Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk event

The event details are hosted on a page titled ‘Fight for Charlie’.
Turning Point USA’s tribute to Charlie Kirk
TPUSA also penned a heartfelt tribute to founder Charlie Kirk. “Charlie Kirk’s life was a testament to faith, courage, and conviction. From his earliest days, he believed America was worth fighting for, and he dedicated every moment of his 31 years to that cause. He lived with eyes fixed on eternity, grounded in the truth of God’s Word, and driven by a calling bigger than himself,” the statement read.
“Charlie was a servant of the Lord, a devoted husband to Erika, a loving father to two beautiful children, and a leader of uncommon clarity and strength. He did not seek influence for its own sake. Instead, he poured his life into others, raising up a generation who would be bold in their faith, steadfast in their love of freedom, and unafraid to defend their country,” it continued.
The statement further said “Charlie died doing what he loved: fighting for truth, for faith, for family, and for America. His sacrifice will endure as a guiding light for generations. Though our hearts are heavy, we do not grieve as those without hope. Charlie’s legacy endures in his family, in Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action, and in the millions he inspired to live with conviction. We honor him not only with our words, but with our actions. We will move forward together, fighting harder, standing taller, and refusing to surrender.”
Meanwhile, an episode of The Charlie Kirk Show also dropped after his demise, and a chair was kept empty in his honor.
