ABERDEEN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – North State University’s Career Services Department held an event on Thursday to connect students with new opportunities in the Aberdeen area.
Around 40 local and state businesses set up at the Student Center for the annual Internship and Career Fair.
The fair gave students an opportunity to see what internships and careers might be available to them after graduation.
“The goal of today is to expose not only our students but the Aberdeen community, to available jobs, internships, grad school opportunities throughout the Aberdeen region, as well as across the state,” said NSU Career Services Coordinator Carly Bierman.
A survey of exhibitors showed positive outcomes from this year’s event.
