ONALASKA — German culture arrived early in Onalaska today as Morrie’s Auto Group hosted its third annual Autoberfest celebration in partnership with Oktoberfest USA.
The free community event took place at Morrie’s Audi and Volkswagen dealership, bringing together local residents for an afternoon of German heritage celebration. Attendees enjoyed live polka music, traditional snacks, giveaways and special appearances by the Oktoberfest royal family.
“Autoberfest is our third annual event here at the dealership, celebrating German heritage,” said Ryan Riste, general manager at Morrie’s. “We got the Oktoberfest royal family here. Just in celebration of the heritage of German and the spirit of Oktoberfest.”
The event, which ran from 2 to 4 p.m., was completely free and open to the public. The celebration serves as an early preview of the German cultural festivities that define the traditional Oktoberfest season.
Morrie’s Auto Group chose to host the event at their Audi and Volkswagen location, highlighting the German automotive heritage that connects the dealership’s brands to the cultural celebration.
