2024 Garden City High School Graduate, Laura Bustos, received a $2,500.00 Big Spring Area Community Foundation Scholarship last May. Laura is the daughter of Laura and Juan Bustos and is currently attending Howard College where she is studying to become a medical assistant.
Laura’s favorite part of her college experience are the people she has met and the great teachers at Howard College. She says so far she has not had to face any difficult challenges since leaving high school.
Laura plans to become a medical assistant after graduating and continue her career as far as she can go. The Big Spring Area Community Foundation salutes Laura Bustos for her ambition and work ethic and is proud to be a part of her pursuit of happiness.
