Bozeman Symphony kicks off its 58th season, Music that Moves Us … to Join Together, with Sounds of America I: Marsalis & Rachmaninoff on Sept. 20–21 at the Willson Auditorium. Random Acts of Silliness brings back its whimsical fairy village, Bumblewood Thicket, Sept. 5–21 at Glen Lake Rotary Park. Bozeman Symphonic Choir invites the public to a free open rehearsal on Monday, Sept. 8, from 7-9 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 2152 W. Graf.
An ensemble of Bozeman Symphony string musicians will present a Far Afield concert in Pony on Sept. 6, just before Montana Shakespeare in the Parks’ production of As You Like It. Director Norman Huynh will preview the upcoming season at a free talk on Sept. 10 at Hillcrest Senior Living, 1201 Highland Blvd. Classical guitarist Nora Spielman and New York Times best-selling author and NPR podcast host Kelly Corrigan will present Symphony Storytime at the Bozeman Public Library on Sept. 17.
