Wolfe City Head Coach Brad Smithey is focused on building from the ground up as the Wolves prepare for the 2025 football season. Speaking at Coaching School, Smithey emphasized the importance of creating a strong team culture and establishing structure both on and off the field.
“The biggest piece for us is culture,” he said. Smithey believes teaching players to do the little things right—like how to handle a weight room or respond to adversity—is laying the foundation for long-term success.
With more buy-in from players and improved leadership, Wolfe City is learning how to grow together. Smithey is proud of the progress and believes that while wins will come, the program’s internal growth is the biggest win so far. The Wolves are turning the corner and looking to compete in 2025.
