The Derby Education Foundation board recently announced the 2024 fall classroom grant award recipients. The foundation awarded over $2,000 in grants to Derby Public Schools teachers. The grants were given to the El Paso Elementary School music program and the Derby Hills Elementary Early Childhood program. El Paso received $1,500 and Derby Hills received $576 in grant funds from the Derby Education Foundation. To date, the Derby Education Foundation has awarded over $100,000 in grants and scholarships to Derby Public Schools teachers and students.
