Epic Charter Schools officials announced that they cut 357 jobs amid what they call reorganization for the 2025-26 school year. Of the 357 Epic Charter Schools employees whose jobs were not renewed, 83 were teachers and 274 were administrative staff members. The cuts account for 5.92% of Epic Charter Schools’ teachers and 37.43% of the district’s administrative staff. “We are grateful to every member of the Epic team for the passion and care they bring to our community,” Superintendent Bart Banfield said in a statement. “This transition is about preserving and strengthening our ability to serve students for years to come.
