Stillman College held its fall career fair Tuesday, showcasing opportunities available for students before and after graduation.
More than 45 employers attended, including government agencies, large companies such as Coca-Cola and local school districts.
Organizers said they’re proud to have a wide assortment of potential employers come to the school to meet students in person.
“A lot of times (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) are overlooked, so seeing that these organizations are willing to come to campus to offer these internships is amazing,” said Stillman Dean of Career Services Andrew Robertson. “I’d like to say COVID taught us how to be virtual, but you can’t get away from that in-person touch. So, it’s important to see these industries on campus that students can engage one-on-one.”
Stillman will host another job fair in the spring.
