(Seguin) — We’ll feature the important work of some local non-profit groups during this weekend’s Saturday Topic program on AM 1580 KWED.
This week’s Saturday Topic program gets started at 8:07 a.m., right after CBS Radio News and our Ewald Kubota Weather Forecast.
Part one of the program features our conversation with Christy Williams, of the Guadalupe County Children’s Advocacy Center; Kane Jaggers, of SJRC Texas/Belong; and Layla Coleman, of CASA of Central Texas. They discuss the important work offered by each organization and they’ll also take a look at how they are coming together for next Tuesday’s “Blue Breakfast” at Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church.
Part two of this week’s program features our interview with Barbara Vinson, of NAMI of Guadalupe County. NAMI is making plans for its “Your Best Life Festival,” which is set for Saturday, May 17 in the Seguin Coliseum.
