DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – Dothan City Schools Superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe has announced that Dothan Preparatory Academy and PASS Academy will be closed for the remainder of this week.
This comes after a suspected tornado hit the school, causing significant damage to the building’s roof and leaving five students injured.

Dr. Coe emphasized that due to structural integrity, no one is allowed in the building to collect personal belongings until further notice.
