Bid goodbye to forehead acne with these 5 basic lifestyle changes

The forehead, or the T-zone area of your face, is a notorious space with excess oil production. With accumulated dirt, oil, and dead skin cells present on the forehead, it is a breeding ground for acne-causing bacteria that can get triggered because of hormonal changes, diet fluctuations, mild skincare products, and factors like stress.
The tiny red dot on your forehead knows the right time to pop up uninvited, but with the right strategies, you can create a pimple-free clean T-zone and bid goodbye to unwelcome scars, blemishes, and pop-ups. Let’s take a look at some tips to clear your forehead acne.
Always cleanse with care
Avoid using harsh face cleansers, but opt for a gentle face wash or cleanser to remove the extra oil, dirt, and makeup. Choose a cleanser that should not strip your facial moisture. Try to select cleansers that have salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, which would unclog the pores and fight back against the acne-causing bacteria.

Hydrating is the real key
Drinking more than enough water is a one-stop solution to most of your skin problems. Start drinking plenty of water to keep up with your acne, as water keeps the skin hydrated from within. Additionally, you can use a lightweight moisturiser and facial routine that should not overcompensate for oil in your pores and block them, causing more pimples.
Choose your products carefully
When you’re choosing skincare products, be extremely careful and only opt for the right ones that are required for your skin. Try to pick oil-free and non-comedogenic skincare products that will not clog your pores and help with active acne. Also, avoid harsh ingredients that can further irritate your skin and raise more serious acne issues.

Manage your stress issues
Stress can trigger hormonal fluctuations that may lead to breakout issues. Therefore, incorporate stress management activities into your daily routine, such as meditation, yoga, or long walks, that will keep your mind off the problems you’re dealing with and, at the same time, will keep your skin clear and calm. You will see the change over time.

Focus on your diet
There is a link between your diet and acne, which is still debated by many. For certain people, dairy or foods with high glycaemic content can trigger acne, but for some, oily and fried food is the reason for pimples and acne issues. Therefore, pay attention to how and to what your skin reacts and create a diet chart accordingly.

Final say!
While you prepare your skin against the active acne attacking your forehead and T-zone, never prick or scratch those annoying little beasts. Resist the urge to pop, squeeze, and pick, which may lead to inflammation, scarring, and also the possibility of spreading bacteria. Instead, with utmost patience, treat your acne and wait for the result.
