WAILUKU, Hawaii — Following two successful recruitment events held earlier this year, Maui Health announces its third Maui Healthcare Career Fair to be held in the main lobby of Maui Memorial Medical Center, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 13.
Maui Health takes an individualized approach with applicants, offering personal career guidance with the opportunity to secure a same-day interview.
“We have found a way to make the application process as simple and streamlined as possible for people interested in working with Maui Health,” said HR Director Tara Cole in a news release.
“This year, we have had many applicants leave our career fairs with exciting job offers, making our recruitment events very different from others. We want to remove some of the delays in traditional hiring practices and support applicants throughout the entire process,” Cole said.
Applicants speak one-on-one with recruiters who match applicants with job openings based on their skills, experience, passions and potential growth opportunities. Qualified pre-screened applicants are given a same-day interview, which could lead to an immediate job offer.
Many positions require little to no experience so Maui Health encourages anyone interested in a healthcare career to stop by.
Computers will be available for anyone who needs help with applying and staff will be on hand to answer questions. Complimentary valet parking will be available at the main entrance.
Applicants can qualify for a same-day interview by applying online before Sept. 13 then emailing MHS-Recruitment-Svcs@kp.org to request a time slot for an interview.
Maui Health’s Human Resources Office can help those who need assistance applying online. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until Sept. 12. The office is above the Maui Memorial Medical Center Emergency Department in HR Cottage #22.
