PLEASANT HILL, Calif. — The Contra Costa County Office of Education (CCCOE) is excited to announce its annual countywide Spring Job Fair, taking place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Middle School from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Educators at all career stages are in demand to fill various positions throughout Contra Costa County. Job opportunities include full-time teaching positions, certificated support staff roles, higher education openings, PreK positions, and substitute roles with competitive benefits and compensation offerings. Applicants are encouraged to come prepared for onsite interviews and potential sign-on bonus offers for hard-to-fill positions.
“CCCOE’s job fair is a fantastic opportunity for educators to explore employment openings across our county,” Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools Lynn Mackey said. “This event allows candidates to connect with school district leaders and decision-makers all in one place. Whether you’re a teacher or an administrator looking to make a career change, this event could help you find the right fit for your future.”
Representatives from more than 20 school districts and charter schools will conduct on-the-spot interviews for positions available in the current and 2025-26 school years. University and college representatives will also be present to provide information about credential programs for those interested in furthering their education.

About Contra Costa County Office of Education
One of 58 counties in California, Contra Costa County has the 11th largest public-school student population in the state (approximately 169,394 students). Officially established in 1932, CCCOE has a long history of providing direct services to some of our county’s most vulnerable students, including young people who are incarcerated, homeless, or in foster care, as well as students who have severe physical or emotional challenges.
CCCOE also provides support services to schools and school districts in Contra Costa County; services that can be handled most effectively and economically on a regional basis rather than by each of the county’s 287 schools or 18 school districts.
