This year’s Princeton Review ranking is one of many acknowledgements Bentley has received highlighting its strong return on investment. Bentley is ranked one of the top 10 universities in the country where graduates earn the highest salaries 10 years after graduation, according to the HEA Group education research firm based on U.S. Department of Education data. The New York Times ranked Bentley #4 among colleges where alumni earn the highest median income a decade after graduation, ahead of schools such as Stanford, Princeton and Georgetown.
Bentley provides this strong return on investment by teaching skills that prepare students for jobs of the future — this fall the university launched a new artificial intelligence major – and providing many opportunities for internships and other hands-on learning.
Students connect with the Pulsifer Career Development Center their first year on campus, when annually more than 95% take a Career Design Seminar where they identify their personal strengths and talents and find out how those can affect their career. Bentley also offers career design seminars designed for sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Bentley’s comprehensive approach has led to strong results: For more than 15 consecutive years, 97% to 99% of Bentley graduates have been employed or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation. According to data from the most recent class of 2023, 98% of graduates are employed or attending graduate school with a median starting salary of $73,000.
