WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Missouri State University-West Plains’ (MSU-WP) community behavioral health support program will be the topic of the Friends of the Garnett Library meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, in room 205 of Lybyer Hall, 605 W. Main St., in West Plains.
Elizabeth Mahan, the program’s coordinator and lecturer, will be the guest speaker.
The 61-credit-hour program prepares students to enter the workforce as community support specialists for those with behavioral and mental health diagnoses, university officials have said.
“Everyone is welcome to attend,” organizers said. “We welcome you as a guest, or you can find out about joining the organization at the meeting.”
